InstaPic is an unofficial Instagram client for Windows.
Back before Instagram offered its own app and client support for Windows, there was a niche to fill and InstaPic was the program that did it. The program is adware, which means that you can use it for free and it will show ads, or you can upgrade for money and the ads will be gone.
Note that in order to use InstaPic, you must have a valid Instagram account since the program will use that to log in to Instagram and provide access to services. Once logged in, you can add friends, track friends and peruse trending posts just as you would with the website.
InstaPic has an integrated search feature. It lets you search a particular account or across all of Instagram for whatever currently has your fancy. There is also basic built-in support for Twitter and Facebook so that you can share posts and other content that you find interesting.
You can also use this program to download images and to upload your own. There are even editing tools so that you can get a picture to look just right, and there are host of filters to apply to images in case you want to achieve a particular effect or just have a little fun.
If you manage your own Instagram, you can also do that right from within the app, and there has been a lot of refinement in this area since the app was first released. Remove or block followers. Turn off commenting on a particular post or all of them. Send direct messages, including with photos. Send messages in stories. Unsend. Allow user suggestions in comments and much more.
